From deep in the forests of Maine, often recording from a tent, Hilyard presents this collection of songs as something of a journal. Despite being recorded at different points from late 2013 to early 2016, they come together quite well to take us on a journey...

Ominous yet beautiful, the opening tracks perfectly match the amber sunset on the front cover. From there, the album takes us further into the mysteries of the evening, and draws to a close peacefully in slumber.
